If there is one thing not to me missed in Saint Rémy, it is the incredible market. Each and every Wednesday morning people wander around from stall to stall, buying exquisite local products. Expect to find the very best Provence has to offer. Chef Yvan will meet us here to visit a few local producers and get all the ingredients we will need for your cooking class. We then head towards Graveson (a 20-min drive) where the special cooking class will take place. Its a great chance to get to know more about Yvan!

For 14 years, Yvan travelled and cooked around the world. He discovered many cultures, lifestyles and cooking traditions. Cooking is a way to express himself, a way to meet and entertain people. He has hosted a few TV shows in France and abroad, and has written number of cookery books.

Expect to have great fun and to learn some fantastic tips to cook back home, along with some unforgettable recipes! Of course, the class is followed by a wonderful lunch served fabulous wines.

Sebastien will pick you and you will start the day by visiting 2 vineyards. The winemaker themselves will give you an exclusive tour of their famous cellars. You will then experience a special tasting: from AOC and vintage wines, to highly sophisticated labels, its an excellent introduction to Provence wines.

You will then visit a goat farm and learn about their cheeses- after which you will enjoy a tasting of their finest selection; a most memorable experience!

Now that you are ready for lunch, it is time to head for a picnic!

Set in the heart of the vineyard, a gourmet picnic made from the finest local products awaits you for this sophisticated lunch. Its an alternative and idyllic way to enjoy our local gastronomy.

After lunch, we will visit a old olive oil mill that still produces using the traditional processes- in a wonderful setting! We can thenvisit a honey farm and taste their world famous produce.

If you fancy a little break from food, lets learn to play the traditional Provencal game called Petanque. Its a wonderful way to spend a sunny afternoon under the shade of trees in the South of France.
